Enola Gaye Grenade Co.

Although named smoke grenades or smoke bombs these products do not explode. They produce coloured smoke and are not to be confused with a flare. Flares produce a bright flame with the smoke being a by-product of burning. The smokes have been designed for safe use without damage or injury to people or property.

Please note these products are not allowed in sports grounds under the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 and upon conviction can incur a prison sentence of up to 3 months.

Smoke grenades fall under the same legislation as fireworks.

  • Must only be sold to or used by people over 18 years of age.
  • Must only be used on private land with the owner's consent.

It is advised that smoke grenades should not be held whilst emitting smoke because the casing will become hot during operation.

Smoke can add an atmospheric effect to photography. Here's a great introduction video to give you some inspiration.
